We are seeking talented and detail-oriented BIM Designers with Revit experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating Building Information Models (BIM) to support project delivery. You’ll collaborate closely with our engineers to ensure high-quality and efficient designs. 

Responsibilities of a BIM Designer:

  • Generate high quality 2D & 3D construction documents per company standards.
  • Develop comprehensive 3D models of building elements, such as walls, floors, beams and structural components, using Revit software 
  • Work closely and communicate with project engineers and managers regarding projects and scheduling.
  • Support project teams in delivering high-quality BIM deliverables on time and within budget.
  • Use redline mark-ups and sketches to develop Revit models and construction documents.
  • Organize and maintain project files according to established company protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and software developments.

Requirements for a BIM Designer:

  • Proficiency in the use of Revit design software

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Accounting department by performing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Responsibilities of a Staff Accountant:

  • Assist with the month end procedures such as (recurring journal entries, accruals, department overhead allocations, prepaids, and account reconciliations).
  • Maintain fixed asset ledger by adding or retiring fixed assets.
  • Keep track of leasehold improvements and legal fees.
  • Comply with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry.
  • Interface with project managers and clients on invoice questions, concerns and/or corrections.
  • Work with insurance broker to request Certificates of Insurance for ongoing/upcoming projects.
  • Maintain detailed notes on all unapplied payments with collections and external parties.
  • Work with, and utilize, PM’s/Principals/Office Managers in all offices to assist and resolve payment issues.
  • Assist with the posting of payments via checks/wire transfers/EFT’s/credit cards.
  • Provide and interpret financial analysis where necessary or as requested.

Requirements of a Staff Accountant:

  • BA/BS in Accounting preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of staff accountant experience or relevant.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Experience within a service organization (Engineering/Architectural preferred).
  • Deltek/Vision software experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; adaptability to new software.
  • Knowledge of contract structure, terms and conditions.

DCI Engineers, a leading structural and civil engineering consulting firm with 20+ offices spanning the United States, has an opportunity for a full-time Structural Project Engineer in its Kalispell, MT office.

Responsibilities of a Structural Project Engineer:

  • Perform and coordinate the structural design of assigned projects under the supervision of the Project Manager
  • Collaborate with BIM Designers to produce structural construction documents and draft details in REVIT
  • Assist Project Managers with Construction Support, including shop drawing review and answering RFIs
  • Be attentive to details and provide accurate construction documents
  • Progressively grow your technical knowledge through both internal project experience and continuing education

Requirements for a Structural Engineer:

  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience, as it relates to building design
  • Working knowledge and project experience using steel, concrete, wood, and masonry design materials
  • Experience designing all categories of seismic and gravity framing systems for building and material type
  • Basic knowledge of design/build codes, such as the AISC, ACI 318, IBC, and ASCE 7
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software
  • Ability to manage your time, juggling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Desire to provide excellent service and build client relationships
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Effective communication skills
  • Possess a state-issued Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
  • Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited university, preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
