The population of Philadelphia and its suburbs have consistently increased in the last two decades, always ranking as one of the Top 10 largest cities in the nation. As a result, “The City of Brotherly Love” is more culturally diverse than ever. It’s regarded as a trendy place to work, live, and play to a new generation of residents. The growth of the city also means there is plenty of commercial and residential construction in the region and the need for AEC services.

Wayne is a Main Line suburb 19 miles northwest of Philadelphia. Residents get the best of both worlds – easy access to the city and the lifestyle comforts of the countryside. The DCI+MacINTOSH Wayne office was established in 1999, building client relationships throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. In 2022, the group officially joined DCI Engineers to give the firm a national presence and to better serve regional clients. The office is led by Principal Steven Krumenacker and a 14-person team of engineers, a BIM designer, BIM manager, and non-technical support. Together they have built an impressive portfolio of multi-family, mixed-use, senior living, municipal, and commercial projects. The office has played a major role in the City of Allentown re-development over the past decade. Team members are active with the Structural Engineers Association of Pennsylvania, local chapters of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), AIA, Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers, and ASCE. The Wayne office works cohesively with the Wilmington office for project and client-based meetings.
