Building of the Year: Swedish/Issaquah Medical Center

DCI project wins Seattle DJC award

The Seattle Daily Jounral of Commerce recently announced that the Swedish/Issaquah Medical Center was voted Building of the Year by online readers! The project received 2,700 votes out of a total of 7,153, and was up against some fierce competition!

At DCI, we love how much this facility has to offer. This 175-bed hospital project includes:

  • 178,000-sf of medical office space
  • An additional 24,000-sf of entry and retail space
  • A five-story, 323,000-sf ambulatory care center
  • 50,000-sf of below-grade parking

In addition to all this great healthcare space, the complex was also built to be one of the most energy-efficient medical campuses in the region. The medical center was constructed on such a condensed timeline that it seemed to appear out of nowhere! Our Seattle structural engineers really enjoyed working with CollinsWoerman and the rest of the design on team on this project. We're excited to see this facility serving its community and being recognized!
