DCI Announces Promotions

DCI Engineers is pleased to announce new promotions in the following offices.

Katie Bayles, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Denver office. Since joining DCI Engineers, she has contributed engineering support for numerous project types including commercial, tenant improvement, residential, hospitality, and education buildings. Her portfolio highlights include Hyatt Centric and 36th & Delgany in Denver; Queen of Peace Catholic Parish in Aurora, Colorado; and Bridgewater Bank in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

Diego Clavijo has been promoted to Office Manager in the Irvine and Los Angeles offices. Since joining the firm, Diego has demonstrated his organizational and planning skills are an asset to office growth and functionality. He coordinated the relocation of the Irvine office, which required directing employee, building maintenance, IT, and moving service involvement. Diego established ways to orient new hires, plan for open houses, and set up new fee proposals for the Irvine and LA teams.

James Fuentes has been promoted to Senior BIM Project Manager in the Austin office. Since joining DCI, he has been the lead BIM Designer creating models and contract documents for a wide range for projects, from residential to office and high-rise structures. James currently assists the corporate BIM Manager with BIM development and training materials.

Jerome Gannon has been promoted to Senior Project Manager in the Missoula office. Since joining the firm, he has worked on a variety of bridge, industrial, commercial, educational, and residential projects spanning from southern California to Alaska. He specializes in commercial and industrial projects, working with clients and members of the project team to arrive at effective design solutions.

Brooke Giordano has been promoted to Senior Marketing Coordinator in the Spokane office. Since joining the firm, she has elevated her role by supporting corporate marketing, industrial engineering, right of way, and both Spokane and Portland engineering groups. Her organizational skills, networking, event planning, and proposal contributions have made her teams advance in business development efforts. She is now a recognized DCI representative in the local AEC communities and industry organizations.

Roland Hill, PE, has been promoted to Senior Project Manager in the Austin office. Since joining DCI, he has been designing and supporting various residential, hospitality and office projects all over the country. Roland has particular interest in high-rise wind design. He is a member of in-house technical committees for wood, concrete, cold formed steel, and high rises.

Madalyn Majors, PE, has been promoted to Senior Project Manager in the Los Angeles office. Since joining DCI, Madalyn expanded her engineering experience through various structural projects ranging from residential, commercial, mixed-use, renovations, hospitality, and industrial buildings. Over the years, she has overseen the structural design of framing systems and projects requiring her leadership. Madalyn finds fulfillment in supporting affordable housing and podium projects which benefit communities. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Structural Engineers Association of Southern California.

Devin Marcy, PE, has been promoted to Project Manager in the Spokane office. Since joining the firm, he has advanced his engineering experience designing steel structures and school facilities throughout Washington. Devin is currently supporting the Sacajawea Middle School and Almira Middle School projects. He mentors new hires and shares his insights about various structural systems. He is a member of in-house technical committees for wood, steel, and design loads. Devin is a member of the Structural Engineers Association of Washington.

Erin Spaulding has been promoted to Communications Manager in the Seattle office. Since joining the firm, Erin has established her role as a corporate brand strategist and storyteller, contributing various copy, video content, social media posts, and photography for multiple marketing campaigns, plus digital and print material. Her accomplishments include staff highlight videos for the “DCI is ME” Instagram account, The Grand promotion video, the corporate sustainability brochure, and numerous internal communication platforms. She has published articles in Modern Steel Construction and STRUCTURE magazines. Erin is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services, Washington chapter and a FAA-certified drone pilot.
