DCI Engineers, a structural and civil engineering firm based in Seattle, Washington, is excited to announce its recent acquisition of a structural engineering firm in San Francisco, California. Structural Design Engineers (SDE) and DCI Engineers are now functioning as one operation in the Bay Area, known as DCI+SDE Engineers (DCI+SDE). Principal Jeff Brink, previously located in DCI Engineers’ Seattle office, has relocated to San Francisco in order to oversee the development of the new DCI+SDE entity. By combining SDE’s longstanding reputation in the community with DCI’s core values of Service, Innovation, and Value, the combined entity will be able to provide its large Northern California client base with a highly professional team that utilizes state-of-the-art technology, common sense, and many collective years of experience. DCI+SDE will continue to provide structural engineering services for a wide array of project types, including residential, educational, commercial, governmental, and industrial projects.
SDE is a downtown San Francisco-based structural design firm that was established in 1984. For almost 30 years, they have been dedicated to providing quality engineering services for a variety of residential, educational, medical, commercial, and government projects. The firm’s longstanding commitment to active collaboration has allowed them to build an exemplary reputation in the Bay Area.
Founded in 1988, DCI Engineers is a civil and structural consulting firm that provides cost-efficient engineering services and innovative solutions for clients throughout the United States and beyond. DCI Engineers is licensed in all 50 states, as well as several Canadian provinces. Headquartered in Seattle, Washington, DCI also provides services out of seven other offices: Spokane, Washington; Portland and Eugene, Oregon; Irvine and San Diego, California; Austin, Texas; and now San Francisco, California with the introduction of DCI+SDE.
