BIM Department Manager, Spokane
I’ve always enjoyed construction. After some hands-on work experience, I looked into how building plans are created. I found my avenue and have been following it ever since.”
Brian’s natural interest to fix things led him to the construction industry early in his career. He designed heavy sawmill equipment for an engineering/fabrication shop before joining DCI – which gave him the drafting intuition to produce drawings for industrial and mechanical projects. Now with 20+ years of CAD and BIM experience at the firm, Brian exemplifies an advanced designer who can prepare a drawing package with minimal upfront direction from the engineering group to start a project. His portfolio includes heavy industrial, material handling equipment, mixed-use, multi-family, and multi-story building models. He is familiar with a variety of building types requiring construction field insight, such as podiums and residential wrapped around parking structures.
He earned leadership roles in the corporate training committee to develop training programs. As a BIM Manager, Brian directs the Spokane design team and has helped them diversify their project experience. Clients and subcontractors depend on Brian’s quality of work and consistent professionalism to develop drawings/models for buildings and largescale industrial equipment.
