Marketing - specifically in the AEC Industry - allows me to engage with talented engineers, position them as thought leaders, collaborate on corporate initiatives with a brilliant marketing and business development team, and ultimately support our firm in securing innovative projects to design with clients.”
Jordyn’s marketing career began as an opportunity to work for an architectural design firm. Under the guidance of designers and mentors, she soon found her love for the built environment. She developed an eye for creating engaging graphic design, branding, and visual project experience portfolios and fee proposals. When she joined DCI, Jordyn brought her client-facing marketing strategies and high-design intuition to reinvent the look of the firm’s formal proposal packages. She also took on digital marketing efforts with DCI’s social media platforms to creatively amplify project publicity, engineering talent, recruitment, and company culture.
She applies her leadership skills toward a variety of branding campaigns, such as producing marketing materials for the bridge team, the SE 2050 Challenge, DCI’s Embodied Carbon Action Plan, and DCI’s sustainability brochure – just to name a few highlights. As Marketing Manager, Jordyn prioritizes incoming proposal pursuits and directs the day-to-day activities of the department. She takes pride in elevating the voices of DCI’s talented engineers and sustainability champions since learning about their commitments toward innovation and community.
Jordyn received the SMPS Seattle Rising Star Award in 2017.
