Since 2000, Mat has been coming up with design solutions for DCI projects for both new and renovated built environments. The variety of work that continues to come his way range from office, residential, mixed-use, commercial, industrial buildings to parking garages and technology campuses. Mat is the lead for DCI’s Seattle office healthcare sector. He is familiar with designing and constructing for efficiency and reacting to changes during the design and construction phases. Mat enjoys contributing to a building’s structure, even when these systems go unnoticed by the general public. To him, the primary goal is for the client or end-user to confidently occupy the space so they consider the building’s functional integrity or design as an absolute given.
