After college, Robyn immediately started her professional engineering career at DCI. She gained construction administration and design experience, and advanced to managing entire projects involving core and shell elements and tenant improvement. One of her early career successes includes Hollywood & Vine, a high-profile multi-building development in Los Angeles which combines hospitality and multi-family residential use. Robyn became acquainted to tight schedules and multi-level team coordination. Her technical talent and client interface savvy revealed her true project management potential, which led to more project management opportunities throughout western Washington and national locations. Her portfolio now includes a variety of project types in the commercial, hospitality, and multi-family residential markets.

Known for her tenant improvement expertise, Robyn has worked with numerous contractors and architects seeking project input on as-built structural conditions. This positioned her to be co-chair of DCI’s tenant improvement committee. Her colleagues rely on her leadership and problem-solving abilities to fulfill brand-specific built environments for retail, high-tech, and corporate tenants.

Her commitment to the firm can be seen in her participation at career fairs, college presentations, and the Washington State University City & Environmental Engineering Advisory Board.

Elementary school teacher or maybe a middle school or high school math teacher.

Senior design/capstone class.
