Performance-based Design: Providing quality and efficiency in 36 levels of office space

As the tallest building in the neighborhood, this 36-story office tower adds a new feature to Seattle’s skyline. DCI Engineers left a mark on the Westlake Triangle neighborhood by providing structural design services for this new building.

Project Highlights

  • Contains 650,000-sf of Class A office and retail space, as well as seven levels of below-grade parking and an exterior landscaped plaza area.
  • Designed using the latest performance-based design techniques.
  • The floor plates are highly efficient with beams spanning from the central concrete core to the exterior structural steel columns.
  • The exterior of the building includes a mixture of horizontal and vertical precast concrete panels and glass.
