Trusses & Towers: Engineers designed conveyor supports for mining equipment

A material handling equipment client requested DCI’s industrial services to design low profile trusses and support towers for their elevated conveyors at a gold mine site. The engineering team developed structural and mechanical drawings for low profile truss conveyors for a 914mm pebble screen discharge conveyor (93m long); 914mm pebble transfer conveyor (95m long); and 914mm pebble discharge conveyor (95m long). DCI also detailed the anchoring plan for the conveyor truss supports, and advised on the general truss arrangement for installation.
