This historic dude ranch (built circa 1919) in Grand Teton National Park includes a lodge building, out buildings, smaller cabins, and utility out buildings. In 2005, park staff pursued structural consultation for its maintenance and stabilization since they intended to use the ranch for training park craftsman. They also wanted to outfit the buildings with modern mechanical and electrical utilities.
DCI inspected and documented the condition of 13 buildings and generated restoration drawings of the log work. The engineering team detailed the new foundation, connections, and additional log pinnings to keep the historic aesthetic of the buildings.
