The City Center projects in Allentown, Pennsylvania, have started a renaissance in a once dejected old steel town. Two City Center was the first new building in Allentown’s Neighborhood Improvement Zone and its addition to the city can be felt everywhere. To the restaurants that now operate out of the building’s ground floor, to the Arts Park behind the building, to the new pedestrian-only walking paths that link Two City Center and the rest of downtown Allentown together. The 12-story tower offers premium office amenities to its many tenants, including National Penn Bank, whose headquarters is in the building. The amenities include high-tech air filtration system, capable of filtering out 99.97% of airborne pathogens including viruses, so working from the office won’t be as nerve wracking, especially for those with families. The building also has below-grade parking for its tenants in a concrete below-grade garage.
